Anja Ilona Beran learned the art of classical equitation in the stable of Manuel Jorge de Oliveira a pupil of the well-known Nuno Oliveira. She runs her own training facility where she works with horses of all different breeds from the age of three up to the most advanced exercises. Classical equitation around for centuries is for Beran the origin of all equestrian knowledge. She feels that classical training and ONLY through classical training can excellence be achieved in ALL riding disciplines.
