I love my horseman's traditional saddle soap!
I have used glycerine saddle soap for 60 years. A good friend started me with it when I was a child. She also gave me a Kentucky Rollback saddle that was at least 30 years old then. I still have that saddle and I still ride in it!
I like the way it foams up and cleans the leather. It leaves a nice shine when you buff it with a soft cloth. The glycerine liquids have too much water and are not the same as using the bars. The paste you can buy in shoe shine type cans also falls short in quality. You still need to use neatsfoot or some other saddle oil periodically to maintain suppleness, but I'll never give up my glycerine bar soap!

I used this going back to 1972 when I needed something to rub on my Bull Rope .
I made a product to put on my rope that
wouldn’t slip, and it worked !

lifetime favorite
I have been using this saddle soap all my life (long life!). I have tried other more expensive brands and all -in-one brands but I always go back to this one. Easy to use, cleans well and is gentle on leather. The glycerin has hydrating properties that help the leather to soften as it cleans. Leather should only be oiled every 3 months depending on the climate you live in. So in between oiling just this soap is the best.
