An anatomically-shaped half pad with infrared fabric. The Horze Cairo Infrared Half Pad had infrared fabric that reflects body heat and penetrates the tissue where it has a positive effect on the blood circulation and metabolism. Mesh at the withers allows for increased ventilation. The silicone grip prevents slipping of the saddle. It also features shock-absorbing and quick-drying properties. The ceramic nanoparticles woven into the fabric absorb energy of the horse's body releasing far-infrared ray of 8~12?m wavelength back to the animal's body. The infrared radiation is able to penetrate deeply into the tissue and excite water molecules, leading to heat emission, which makes blood vessels expand. The end result is increased blood circulation and thus metabolism, which also makes the muscles supple.
