We have an appaloosa we braid for shows and half his mane falls on one side of his neck and half on the other. We try to just do a running braid but he shakes his head and it falls out. We need something to help make tighter braids and to help train half of his mane to fall on the right side.

i have a horse i love to braids his mane& tail but the braids do not stay in i want to know if this stuff really works good?

Best Answer: It does help keep the shorter hairs in the braid better/longer. But, if you are braiding and leaving it in for an extended time, as the hair ends get drier, they do start popping out. But, I think the braids to last/look better longer than without using it.
