Pretty halters!
Gave these as gifts for a local rodeo queen contest, they were a hit with the contestants!

Fun colors and great halter
These halters come in great colors and are good quality and work great. I got mine for a killer deal. It is easy untie the lead and add a snap if you want. Fits a large variety of horses.

good quality for the price
I was very surprised when I received my halters, I ordered 6 of them and am very happy with the quality and durability of the halters. I have 2 of the Julie goodnight training halters that these resemble and they are almost as good. They are not quite as strong or rigid in the nose as hers but they are a good everyday halter and definitely recommend them.

Works on all
I used them on my mules and horses. Every thing from 14 to 16.3 hands in size. Use them in daily use,for training to lead and use on packing mules.

Good Halter for the Price!
I got this halter in Royal Blue for my dark bay QH gelding and it looks great on him! The only thing that I didn't like is that it was smaller than I expected. It barely fit him and he is only two so he will possibly out grow it but for the price I can't complain.

GREAT NOSE BAND
The only negative I have on this halter was the way it was tied together. I had to redo the halter to fit my larger horses. Fit the paint perfect, but not the other large 'horses I have, but than a lot of tack doesn't fit them. The nose band is really beautiful, extra wrapping for more control with your horse. I actually thought this would have been at least a $25 or more $ halter. I am not a fan of the nylon rope which this has, but I just tie knots all along the rope so it doesn't slide out of my hands.

Great for my young horses..
Sometimes when you don't pay much you usually don't get good quality. .but this..I LOVE IT.Great for my young horses for a great price and it last forever. .

Great halter!
Great little halter for the money. We use them all the time. We had 2 different young horses tied on a high line and they were "sacked out". The young horses put much pressure on the halter and it never broke.

dose it work as anyother rope halter?
A shopper on Oct 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: You are not specific as to does it work? Are you asking about training to pressure and release? If so I recommend a stiff rope halter with knots on the noseband. A solid noseband like this will put pressure on the entire surface of the nose and in the wrong hands could damage the cartilage in the nose, much like kellies did in the 60's when they first came out (this was a narrow wire style hackamore). Before using any training device, the handler should be educated and hopefully have some experience. As an everyday halter this one works fine, but avoid the temptation to jerk and use to much pressure. Hope this is helpful.
Would this fit my 1200lbs Quarter horse?
Norma Jean W on Aug 7, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Probably not, or if it does, probably barely - this halter is average size, for horses approximately 800-1100 lbs. You may wish to consider the Fabtron Cotton Rope Halter (item E010885). That halter is available in both average and large (approx. 1100-1500 lbs) sizes.
Is the lead long. And is the halter and lead stiff?
Shades on Jul 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I remember buying a pink halter like this as a gift for one of my students. The noseband is stiff, and the rest of the halter is reasonable. The lead is sufficient but I would not say exceptionally long and there is no snap, but you can add one. I have stiffer leads but this one is OK. For training I use a very stiff halter and lead that I bought long time ago from Clinton Anderson, unfortunately he does not have them anymore. It has been serviceable although the color has faded. It's a good deal for the price and good for an everyday halter & lead. Over all I have been happy with the items and prices from here. Hope this helps
Does this fit a pony? We have one that is approximately 300 pounds, and another that is approximately 500 pounds.
A shopper on Jul 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: We use ours on a 900 lb cob horse who has a large head. I don't think it would be suitable for a small pony. I recommend getting a pony size.
Is the turquoise actually turquoise or is it light blue?
A shopper on Aug 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Sorry. I must have been sent this question in error. I bought blue for my gelding three years ago. I will say that I would buy another, not that another is needed. They are made to last!
Do y'all sell sizes for draft horses?
A shopper on Dec 8, 2014
BEST ANSWER: We do sell a few draft horse sized halters unfortunately this particular item does not offer that size.
