Works awesome with sleeves
We used these with the sleeves over t-posts for our fencing. The electric polytape ribbon slides through real nice and when the clip is locked in place hold the fencing taunt. Only drawback you have to buy the screws.

Don't expect these to last long...
If I had nothing to compare these to they might be fine, but I installed these as well as a similar insulator I got from my local coop about 2 years ago. This summer I began updating some of my electic tape and this required opening each insulator. I lost track if how many broke as I pried (very difficulty) them open. The plastic was brittle and because they were so narrow they just snapped right off. The ones from the coop however we're much wider and thicker so they were much stronger... None of those broke, (and they were easier to open) and they also remained tight so the tape wouldn't slack, whereas these loosened up over time. As they continue to break off I will be replacing them with the coop version (can't remember the brand but they look just like the tpost version sold here.) I have a lot of pasture so this will take quite a while to accomplish, definitely a bummer.

Hard to open/close, but they probably SHOULD be so that's OK
I bought these to use on my camping pen along with t-post sleeves. They were very easy to install with a screwdriver and drill. They don't open easily - I need a set of heavy pliers to open/close the plastic - but frankly I think they were designed to be that way and I'm using them for "off label" use, so that's okay. And I do own pliers. The price was way better than any other connector suited to the use and they do work.

No Screws!
Really nice clips and are very sturdy for fence tape and wooden posts. only problem is THERE ARE NO SCREWS that come with this product!!! Kind of inconvienent when you buy 16 bags of the stuff and find out there are no screws.

These have worked well for my fencing for the last 9 yrs...a few have come loose. Recommend adding PVC glue before installing with screws.

Essential item for tape fence, wood post installation. The original fasteners I used are no longer available and these appear to be a good replacement at a good price.
