gate strap
this is one of the first things that ive ordered from horse.com that i was not happy with! They are not secure they slip a belt would do better

Works great
I am using this strap on a gate for a horse that seems to spend all her time trying to undo latches. Since using this, little miss escape has not been able to escape or let anyone else out. It is easy to use and stays put even on the round post. I am purchasing some more of these.

Great product!
I have used these straps for several years to keep my chain link gates from popping open when my dog jumps on the gate. They are in daily use in full sun and rain for past couple of years and still going strong. Indestructible. Easy to use, even one handed. I just bought more for other uses. Great price, too.

Love 'em
I use these around the barn all the time. They are great for gates, holding buckets, keeping water hose rolled up, and recently I used one for a temporary fence repair. Easy to use, inexpensive, last a long time. I really love that you can get them in different lengths.

really great product
These straps are strong and sturdy easy to use. My palomino use to manipulate most every gate and now with these straps there is no way she can get the gates open she doesn't even try anymore. Really a great product inexpensive for what it is.

Great quality, strong, easy to use and they look nice! Basically like a giant zip tie... Beats hay bale twine by a long shot!

Beats baling twine every time
These straps are the handiest tool on our farm. As gate straps, they have no equal. No houdini can open the spring clamp, yet I can open it with one hand. They last for years, too. The original straps we purchased I don't even know how long ago are still in use today! The clamps are as strong as ever and the nylon fabric of the strap still holds even though they show evidence of having been out in the weather all this time - faded and frayed on the edges.I would say that any place you use baling twine, you could use one of these straps to much greater effect!

handy and useful
I use these as a secondary closure on all my gates. Easy to use and secure. Get the longest length; it's the best value and sometimes the extra length really comes in handy.

When I first received these, I was skeptical, but upon using, I love them! They are very handy for a lot of uses-they even hold water buckets. A good practical device for the barn. I just ordered more.

AWESOME!
These straps are GREAT! I have a horse that can open gates and I have a gate that is sprung and won't latch. These straps took care of BOTH problems! Quick to use and no worries!!!

BEST ANSWER: Yes. They have good teeth so they bite down pretty hard on the strap. I use them to strap horse panels together and leave them outdoors for years at a time and they last and last and hold up to the shenigans of horses. Love them and are well worth the money.
