Great nutritional "insurance"
I have tried hard to find a supplement that seemed to have most of what we need to augment our hay/pasture/water quality for a price that was affordable (we have four old horses)...Four-a flex has given us that nutritional insurance at a reasonable cost. I ran out once and thought-eh-I'll see what happens if they don't have it...Their bloom diminished, and their well kept barefeet suddenly started to get dry and flaky...back on it asap!..I don't have any trouble with palatability...but-admittedly-our group are EATERS! We have everything from an easy keeping 9 y.o. to a 35 y.o. in great shape...they get individualized amounts of plain beet pulp soaked and the three oldies get individual additional portions of other pelletized feed (teeth missing in the 35 y.o.).They are all always happy to eat their "glop."

Great product!
My horses love this supplement. They stay slick & shiny on this. Helps the older horses maintain their weight.

I have healthy horses and shiny coats
Years ago someone asked what vitamins I fed my horses, as she had admired their shiny coats and overall health. They thought I was feeding an expensive Platinum product.

Great Product
I use this product for my horses and my dogs, puts a nice sheen to their coats. The dogs shed less which is great. All around great buy.

Does not reseal
Bought a 25# bag of this as a multivitamin for my mare through her pregnancy. I have noticed improved coat quality and temperament, which is great, but I made the mistake of keeping the (non-waterproof) bag in a metal bin in the barn, but the mice still managed to get into the folded bag. I've always been happy with the fast shipping from Horse.com, just wish I would have transferred to a smaller container and kept the large bag in the house.

great product, great price and animals love it!
All 5 horses, plus the dogs and even the cat like this and eat it willingly. The cat doesn't get his own so he chases the 130# dog away to eat hers. All of the animals have great skin, coat and nails/hooves, and seem more level headed than before this product! Highly recommended.

Excellent for Calves
I originally bought this for my horse, but when I seen you could also give it to calves, I decided to try it on them. They were not doing very well on plain whole milk, but when I added the supplement, they perked up and became lively within a day or two. I still give it to them and they are all doing great-no bad scours and plenty of healthy appetites.

Great all around vitamin supplement.
Fed Clovite for years (and still love it) but ran across this as a more cost-effective alternative and have been very happy with it. Simple, all around supplement at a fraction of the cost. We run a rescue and feed it to every horse here. I am convinced it helps to round out our feeding plan to both our new arrivals and long-time family members.

I wasn't really paying attention when I bought this, normally I'm uptight about ingredients but for whatever reason I didn't bother to look. I was disappointed when this supplement arrived and it is labeled on the front that it is an all livestock feed. I don't care to feed my horses something that is also "designed" for cattle, sheep, goats, etc... I'm also not a fan of corn and I try to steer clear from corn. Luckily it wasn't expensive, so I don't feel jipped!

Since I've been using this, my horses are glowing, healthy and happy. My gelding, when I bought him at age 6 was showing signs of pre-cushings. I think this product is a piece of the reason why his symptoms have nearly disappeared. Regular exercise has also been critical. Seems like more muscle mass translates into better pituitary functioning, or something like that. Any vets out there with some thoughts?

Have fed clovite for years, this is a more economical brand with the same benefits.

I've been feeding this to my horses for over 5 years and they are always healthy and sleek. They shed out easy and seems to improve weight gain and hoof health.
