Farnam(R) SimpliFly(R) With LarvaStop™ SimpliFly(R) with LarvaStop™ is a highly palatable feed additive that prevents formation of fly larvae in treated manure. LarvaStop™ breaks the fly lifecycle by preventing the formation of fly larvae's exoskeletons when they molt, resulting in their death. The alfalfa-scented pellets are easily fed and economical to use, and only need to be administered during fly season. Because the dosage is designated by weight, it can be given to any horses from minis to draft. A reduced risk pesticide, it contains no organophosphates and can be used as part of an integrated pest management program. This product should be fed top dressed on grain or mixed with the horse's total ration to provide 6.8mg of diflubenzuron per 100 lb. of body weight. For an occasional finicky eater who does not accept new feeds readily, mix this product with sweet feed or grain ration. Start feeding early in the spring before flies begin to appear and continue feeding throughout the summer and into the fall until cold weather restricts fly activity. This product contains an insect growth regulator that prevents the development of house flies and stable flies in the manure of treated horses, but is not effective against existing adult flies. In some cases, supplemental fly control measures may be needed in and around paddocks and buildings to control adult house and stable flies that can breed in other decaying vegetable matter or silage on premises, or that migrate in from other areas. SimpliFly™ with LarvaStop™ should be used as part of an integrated pest management program aimed at reducing fly populations in the horse's environment. In order to achieve optimum fly control, this product should be used in conjunction with other premise and on-animal products as well as good management and sanitation practices. Contains two insecticide systems and two repellents for use on horses and dogs for immediate and residual control of face flies, stable flies, house flies, mosquitoes, gnats, mites, fleas, chiggers, and lice. Kills Lyme Disease-carrying ticks, including Ixodes dammini . Lasts 2-3 days. Oil-based. DIRECTIONS FOR USE : It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. USE ONLY IN WELL VENTILATED AREAS. HOLD BOTTLE IN UPRIGHT POSITION WHEN SPRAYING. For burrow applications, insert one to two 2-oz pieces of bar at least six inches into each active burrow. Check treated burrows each morning and evening to make sure that baits have not been pushed out of burrows. For above ground treatment, space bait placements 15 to 30 feet apart. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for 10 days or until fresh signs of rat activity cease to appear. Mice: While wearing gloves, break bar into 2 oz pieces and apply one 2-oz bar piece per placement in infested area at 8 to 12 foot intervals in infested area. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for 15 days or until fresh signs of mouse activity cease to appear. Follow-Up: Replace contaminated or spoiled bait immediately. Wearing gloves, collect and dispose of all dead animals and leftover bait properly. To prevent re-infestation, eliminate sources of rodent food, water and harborage as much as possible. If re-infestation does occur, repeat treatment. Where a continuous source of infestation is present, establish permanent bait stations and replenish bait as needed.
